Description

This site extends to approximately 1.43 hectares (3.53 acres) and comprises previously developed land that is bounded to the west by Siding Cross Lane and the former Naval Stores buildings (now let for storage). To the north of the site is the B3213 from where access will be derived with open fields beyond. To the south of the site there is a low level bund adjacent to the Plymouth-Exeter railway line and the A38 dual carriageway. To the east there is a mix of residential dwellings and open fields.  The site is broadly rectangular in shape and slopes gently north west to south east. It comprises mainly cleared scrubland overlain by temporary surfacing.  The site is located on the south side of Wrangaton village approximately 3 miles east of Ivybridge and 1.5 miles north east of the village of Ugborough. It is situated adjacent to the edge of Dartmoor National Park and is conveniently positioned for access to both Plymouth and Exeter via the A38 dual carriageway.
